Wii! On top of the Next-Gen Console wars

Wii! On top of the Next-Gen Console wars

According to Video Game Chartz, Wii has already passed the sales of XBOX 360 which has been in the market for a while, with a heavy lead against the two giant consoles (Playstation 3 and XBOX360) and still on fire, in terms of sales.

Nintendo Wii, Since its launch, the monthly sales numbers of the console have been higher than its competitors across the globe. According to the NPD Group, the Wii has sold more units in North America than the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 combined in the first half of 2007. This lead is even larger in the Japanese market, where it currently leads not only in total sales, but usually outsells both consoles by 3:1 to 6:1 every week. In Australia, the Wii exceeded the Xbox 360 to become the fastest selling games console in Australian history.

While Microsoft and Sony had experienced losses producing their consoles, in the hopes of making a long-term profit, Nintendo claims to have optimized production costs to obtain a significant profit margin with each Wii unit sold. - wikipedia.org

  4. I want to get surround sound for my PlayStation 3 and I was wondering if you have any recommendations on what I should get. When I check out best buy it all "theater systems". I just want surround sound, not a new blue rye DVD etc. I am also planning on what type of HD/LCD TV, what type should I get. (I play Call of Duty 5, games like that) Website links will and store names will help. Any help?

  13. A little off topic, Guys... I have a question. Last weekend I had fun with this site:
    Rivalspot.com - Wii Live Tournaments
They say you can play online sports game tournaments on any console for cash... had anyone tried that before? Looks like a cool idea...
Are there any other sites where you can play sports games for real moneys? I Googled and found only Bringit.com and Worldgaming.com but it looks these guys don't specialize in sport gamez. Any suggestions?
